PURPOSE
To Put and Keep Wild Sheep on the Mountain

MISSION
•We enhance wild sheep populations, promote scientific wildlife management, educate the public and youth on sustainable use and the conservation benefits of hunting while promoting the interests of the hunter.
•Educate the general public, Federal/State Legislators and youth about benefits/ challenges of wild sheep conservation.
•Promote and protect the interests of wild sheep hunters and all Stakeholders in New Mexico, as well as other States and Provinces in the US and Canada.

WHAT WE DO
•Sponsor  NMDGF Youth hunting programs.
•Assist with BHS census and relocations.
•Execute the 2 NMDGF BHS raffles (20yrs).
•Annual Sponsor at the Wild Sheep Foundation Sheep Show in Reno.
•Member of the WSF political action team.
•Working to protect the Rio Grande Gorge herd.
•Participate in the annual WSF sheep technical/political summit.
